Wandering Wednesday {Pinterest}

For this week's Wandering Wednesday I'm sharing a link to my TP Craft's Pinterest feed.  If you're not on Pinterest, you don't know what you're missing.  It's a land of crafty goodness.  If you are, then come on over and follow us.

Wandering Wednesday {Toilet Paper Roll Wig}

Here's yet another costume idea that used toilet paper rolls to create a wig.  Great idea.  Do you have a Halloween costume that uses toilet paper rolls, paper towel rolls, or other cardboard tubes.  I would love to see it. Email me: shannon@yellowfence.com or you can always post a picture over on our facebook page.

Wandering Wednesday {Toilet Paper Halloween}

It's October, and that means Halloween will be here soon.  As much as I tried to convince my kids to dress up like a roll of toilet paper, no one thought it was a good idea.  I love this costume and it cracks me up every time I look at it.

Wandering Wednesday {Christmas Nativity Set}

Well friends, I hate to be the one to break it to you, but it's less than 3 months until Christmas.  Are you ready?  I usually have all my shopping done by now, but since we've been in the process of building a new house I still have tons more to do.  Here is a little Christmas Nativity craft to get you in the spirit. I'm excited to start showcasing some great fall & winter holiday crafts in the next months.

Wandering Wednesday {Toilet Paper Roll Marionette Birds}

These cute little friends come from a site called Red Ted Art.  I found them while perusing Pinterest.  They are Marionette Birds and they are fantastic.  There are detailed directions on the website, and they don't look very hard, so we might attempt some of these in the future.

Wandering Wednesday {Cardboard Tube Home Storage}

Today's Wandering Wednesday comes from shelterness.com.  Technically these are toilet paper rolls, but they are cardboard tubes.  I love the way these cardboard tubes were repurposed to create storage in an entryway.  What a neat way to reuse something that would have been discarded as trash.

Wandering Wednesday {Marble Maze}

I saw this over on the Family Fun site and it immediately reminded me of the Paper Towel Marble Run that we made a while back.  This would be a great alternative if you don't have anything magnetic to stick your paper towel rolls to.

Wandering Wednesday {Toilet Paper Roll Crowns}

I saw these little crowns over on Creative Jewish Mom blog.  They are so adorable.  I think we might need to make some for the Pirate & Princess birthday party that we're having for the kids in September.  Just adorable.

Wandering Wednesday {Cute Little Owls}

First of all, let me apologize for being missing in action this week.  We've been busy swimming and enjoying a lot of outdoor time in some beautiful weather.  Here are some cute little owls for this week's Wandering Wednesday post and I promise to be back very soon with some new crafty goodness.

Wandering Wednesday {Toilet Paper Roll Pincushion}

If I gave away an award for the biggest transformation to a toilet paper roll I think this Toilet Paper Roll Pincushion would take the cake.  I had to take a second look at these because I almost didn't believe it was a toilet paper roll.

Wandering Wednesday {Toilet Paper Roll Lamp}

When I first saw this lamp, I thought it was something right out of the IKEA catalog.  But nooooo... It's a lamp made out of toilet paper rolls.  How crafty is that?

Wandering Wednesday {Toilet Paper Roll Origami}

So, technically this isn't a toilet paper roll craft, but I did think it was a craft way to display your toilet paper.  Evidently, there is a whole book dedicated to toilet paper origami.

Wandering Wednesday {Bathroom Border Stencil}

I thought this little number over on the House*Tweaking site was brilliant.  Using a toilet paper roll to stamp circles on the walls of your bathroom is a great decorating tip.  I might have to try this when we move into our new house.

Wandering Wednesday {Wall Art}

I saw this lovely little piece of artwork over on the Just A Girl Blog.  Stop by and check it out, she even gives you a step-by-step tutorial on how to create your very own wall art.

Wandering Wednesday {Sun}

This craft caught my attention because it opened up the paper towel roll.  To be honest, I'd never thought to use a cardboard tube this way.  Pop on over here to check out the full set of directions.  Now I need to think of some fun crafts we can do by busting these suckers open!

Wandering Wednesday {Cardboard Castle}

Holy Awesome, Batman!  I love this cardboard castle.  I need to start saving some boxes so Cole and I can make something cool like this.  This would be fun to make using a bunch of paper towel rolls as towers.  Hmmm...

Wandering Wednesday {Cardboard Tube Rockets}

Last week I showed you a few of the items we made for Space Day.  Here are some more rockets from the fabulous Martha Stewart.  I think hers are much prettier than ours turned out, but that's ok, mine were made by a super cute kiddo!

Wandering Wednesday {Animal Mobile}

You know we love the elephants around here, so this mobile immediately caught my eye.  I love the idea of using different animals (or even a bunch of elephants) to make one of these.  Go check it out!

Wandering Wednesday {Toilet Paper Roll Artwork}

Bethany Studios showcased this really cool project over on her site.  I love the bright colors and the airy design of the toilet paper rolls.  We might have to try this one ourselves.
