Summer Boredom Busters for Kids :: Fishing Game

This fishing game is from a few years back, but it's still a big hit at our house.  The kids will take turns setting it up for each other to go "fishing".  Click here for instructions so you can make your own game.

A Camping We Will Go

At the end of the month we are taking the kids to one of our favorite state parks up in Georgia.  I thought this would be a great time to revisit some of my favorite "camping themed" crafts that we've done.

Toilet Paper Roll Fish

 Fish Supply List: 1 toilet paper roll, tissue paper, scissors, piece of ribbon, construction paper, google eyes, packing tape

 Roll your toilet paper up in the tissue paper and secure it with tape.

 Tie one end with the string and tuck the extra tissue paper from the other end into the cardboard tube.

 Cut some slits in the fish tail.

Add your google eyes and fins and your fish is ready to go for a swim.
